Pappy’s Roost (Old Town Vibe!)

Verified provider!! Pappy’s Roost is vintage and is up the street from a railroad track that has locomotives coming through very slowly because of the tight confines of Harrodsburg. The track is not extremely close, but you can definitely see the train when standing on the sidewalk in front of The Roost. The Roost still can offer sound sleep at night because the proximity is not near enough to the tracks to be startling or disturbing to sleep. Pappy’s has been restored and has every amenity!

The deck overlooking the lake and private dock with boat slip is located across the street on the lake side of the property. The house is not on the lake. Close to all the marina's. Right in the heart of Bourbon country. Please note: Lake is currently at winter pool level. The steps down to the dock do not reach the dock walkway. As my husband (Fred) and I were living in Lexington, and still working. We took every opportunity to come down to our lake house. Now that we have moved into a house on the property we thought other people might enjoy the peace and quiet, the swimming and fishing. We have a dock that we let our renters use. Bring your boat or sea-doo. There are several marinas nearby where you can put in. We look forward to hosting you and your family and pets.
