'The Nook' stone cottage in peaceful surroundings

The Nook’ is a self contained 2 bedroom cottage annex, inspired by its medieval inglenook fireplace. It is situated at the end of a long drive in a peaceful rural location. Hiking trails abound with Harlech beach, town and castle a walk away. The area has plenty to offer; steam railways, Portmeirion, sandy beaches, ZipWorld and Mt Snowdon are just a car ride away. Alternatively enjoy the Nook’s garden with BBQ/fire-pit and perhaps a game on its unique pétanque pitch or retro games machine.

It is ideally located within Snowdonia National Park with access to beautiful coastlines and majestic mountains. The barn is well equipped and situated on a quiet and narrow country lane.

Here is our newly completed shepherds Hut -Gwenlli a welsh name that depicts the view of Bardsey Island on the horizon. Situated in a peaceful corner of our field, nestled in the hills above the small village of Talybont in Snowdonia. Overlooking cardigan bay and boasting panaramic views from the Snowdon mountain range in the north to witnessing a memorable sunset over the Lleyn peninsula with a drink in your hand whilst relaxing in the easy to use electric jacuzzi hot tub.

Changeover Days for Weekly stays are Friday, however, you can book mini-breaks for arrival on other days. Afon Cariad is a traditional detached stone cottage set in three acres of land on the riverbank and at the foot of a beautiful nature trail and nature reserve - Coed Cymerau.

Forget your worries in this homely and cosy annex. Centrally heated with a private entrance hall leading to a private double bedroom, bathroom, lounge/diner and outside patio area; all for your exclusive use during your stay. The lounge has a sofa, dining table, tv, toaster, fridge, kettle and microwave. All bedlinen and towels are provided; free wifi and parking for one car.

I invite you to use my lovely house to enjoy Harlech and the surrounding area. On the edge of a small estate, the house overlooks farmland and has views of mountains in the distance. The Welsh Coastal Path runs behind the garden. There's wifi and Sky TV. Cleaning, bed linen and towels are all part of the service; I just ask guests to enjoy the house with care.

Make yourself at home in front of the fire, enjoy long walks on the beach and visit Harlech’s famous cliff-top medieval castle... Yr Hen Efail, is a unique holiday cottage in the beautiful village of Harlech. You can enjoy a peaceful stay with stunning views across to the Llyn Peninsula. The building is an annex to the main house and is the original Smithy for Harlech and the local area. There are many interesting features, a modern interior with a strong sense of local history.
