Surfside Cottage is located in Anchorage Cottages & Retreat Center on the sandy shores of the Great Lake Huron. It is 1 of 6 cottages on the property. This rustic cabin is fully furnished and has shared beachfront and private deck right on the water. Picnic tables, firepits, a charcoal grill and beach furniture help round out your quintessential Up North experience here in Oscoda.

If you are looking for a comfortable yet exciting vacation spot, Patti's Getaway is your place. In 2018, Patti's Getaway has been remodeled. Our home is about 6 blocks from Lake Huron and just minutes to downtown shopping, restaurants, beaches, parks, boat launches and more. Patti's Getaway is only: about 8 miles from Tawas Point State Park (good place to bird watch) , about 12 miles from Corsair Trails, about 15 miles form Iargo Springs and Lumbermen's Memorial, just to name a few places.

The cabin has NO ELECTRICITY OR RUNNING WATER but solar lighting illuminates nicely and there are convenient private showers available offsite. Potable water provided.

This is a neighborhood and the homes are close together. Please be respectful of the neighbors and keep the noise down and respect their property.

Two Trees Lake Huron Cottage, dog friendly

Two Trees is a light-filled home on Lake Huron that is a perfect spot for couples, small families, and solo travelers. Situated on a wooded lot, Two Trees sleeps four, and has a freshly updated kitchen and bathroom. The path to our private, sandy beach winds through the woods and down 38 stone steps - which are challenging for some. The house is a short drive to Lumberman's Memorial, Sturgeon Point Lighthouse, and Dinosaur Gardens. It is near US 23; there will be road noise.

A fixer-upper. The house is ready now with some ongoing projects. The house is one bedroom on top of a two-car garage so being able to climb steps is a must to enter the living space. The house is located in town. Less than a 5-minute stroll to the lake passing a coffee and ice cream shop, a consignment shop, an art gallery, etc. This is a great place to stay for the Harbor Town Weekend in September.
