Chambls Shack provides wanderers with a slow stay, overlooking the sandy beach at Verona Sands. Chambls is a genuine shack experience, complete with 1970’s kitchen, open fireplace and light shades. Plenty of wobbly bits and sloping floors, but we’re watertight, warm and a whole load of fun. Situated 1 hour from Hobart via Huon or Channel, Chambls welcomes travellers who want to truly relax and revisit the 70’s in luxe linens, open fire and a bottle of red. Or bring the kids and hit the beach.

Baywatch Bruny Island

Freshly renovated in June 2024, Baywatch overlooks the stunning Adventure Bay beach. Unwind on the expansive deck furnished with bean bags, outdoor dining settings, a gas BBQ, and a custom-built woodfired oven. Inside, cozy up by the warm pellet fire, cook in the fully equipped kitchen, and savor the views. Simple, thoughtful and very much loved, full of light, laughter and our love of the sea. Ocean front with views of Park Beach and Frederick Henry Bay from both the inside and outside of the shack. Using the shack as your base, no matter which direction you choose to venture, there’s an array of experiences and activities to explore, 20 min to Hobart Airport, 40 min to Hobart, gateway to Richmond, East Coast, Port Arthur and the Tasman Peninsula. A slower way of life just happens here x

Quiet Corner Escape [Unit 1] @ Adventure Bay

Welcome to Quiet Corner Escape located on Quiet Corner in Adventure Bay, Bruny Island. One minute to the safe, sheltered beach for swimming and a short stroll to local shops and playgrounds. With high-speed Starlink internet, BBQ, self-contained kitchen, off-street parking and reverse cycle heating to keep you cosy. This is Unit 1 of 2 conjoined two-bedroom, one-bath units with water views from your lounge and sunny deck. Both units can be booked if available for group bookings.

Bruny Boathouse

The Bruny Boathouse is nestled on the waterfront with panoramic views across d'Entrecasteaux Channel, Satellite Island & Hartz Mountain propped up in the background. Centrally located in the township of Alonnah on the western side of Bruny Island, The Boathouse is an ideal place to base yourself for everything that Bruny has to offer. Rising Hut ~ Cygnet, Tasmania

Our cosy and humble cabin - an old pickers hut from the farm's previous life as an apple orchard - is located in the stunning Huon Valley, with views across the stunning Huon River to the snow capped mountains of the Southwest. You would be hard pressed to find a more peaceful outlook for your morning coffee or afternoon wine as you take in the open skies and the local wildlife. Just a few minutes from the charming village of Cygnet and its many great cafes and shops.

Aerie Retreat

AERIE retreat. A private designer apartment in the bush by the water. Walk down to the very private Wilderness Deck for exclusive use of the Timber Hot Tub, Sauna and fire pit. Access to the waterfront marine reserve is also exclusively available for our guests. A brilliant spot to stay summer or winter. Watch the winter full moon rise over the ocean from the hot tub and sauna.

Boutique self-contained accommodation studio . Cafe and hotel within an easy walk. Central location to explore Bruny Island and other attractions south of Hobart, including the Huon Wine Trail. Located in Kettering, a 30 minute drive south of Hobart. Continental breakfast supplied each morning of your stay.

Beachfront + fire pit + sauna. Set on the sand-dunes of Pirates Bay our beachfront cottage is an original 1970s fishing shack. Rustic and full of character this is a true shack experience. The sound of the roaring waves surrounds you in this amazing nook nestled on the bay.
