Located a 1/4 mile from the snowmobile trails you can ride from the front door to the trails, or from the trailhead nearby (see photos for proximity). Road end lake access, as well as 1.2 miles from the only public boat launch and state park on the lake.

Whether you seek a romantic get away with someone special, or a lively get together with friends or family, this place offers something for everyone.

Cozy cabin on 20 acres(occasional neighbor across road) where you can enjoy snowmobiling in Grayling/Gaylord area or ATV riding in the Frederic area. Just minutes from Hartwick Pines State Park or Forbush Corner for hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. 20 minute drive from treetops resort in Gaylord. Camp Grayling (near I-75) holds occasional trainings see their FB for schedules.

Ski at Hansen Hills or bundle up and go ice fishing. We are about 10 minutes from the Manistee and Au Sable for fly fishing, canoeing, and tubing.

Just outside the kitchen guests will enjoy an outdoor area & firepit. The deck around the front of the home has a grill and river front view. The cabin itself sits about 200 feet back from the river. Entry into the river off the property is ankle deep rocky bottom. This is not a party destination.
