Our lovingly restored and converted stone barn. Our aim is for guests to experience a historic and traditional Irish country home, while enjoying the comforts of modern living. We have SKYTV, DVD and WIFI but we can also offer the peace and quiet of the rural Irish countyside. Three double bedrooms compliment a spacious open plan ground floor. With its own grounds and parking, this stone property is on the edge of three counties and perfect for exploring the ancient south east and its coast.

Faithlegg, Country Cottage

A cozy renovated 200 year old cottage. Situated down a country lane. You will need a car. Suitable for two adults and one small to medium size dog. There is a fee for the dog. Easy access to beaches, walks and Waterford city provided you have a car. Public transport is not easily accessible to or from our cottage. Taxis are fine. The cottage is annexed to the main house. It includes a bedroom, shower, kitchen and breakfast room. The breakfast room looks out onto your own private garden.

There is numerous attractions including the Hook lighthouse, Dunbrody Famine ship and Tintern Abbey and watersports including Kayaking, Coasteering. Caving and archery. those looking for the nature trails we have Tintern abbey, Forth mountain and Kennedy park it is also a fantastic location for Anglers.

Just 10 min by car from Waterford city centre you are right at the heart of the south east, the perfect base to explore the famous sites of county Waterford, county Kilkenny, county Tipperary and county Wexford. Visit the beautiful gardens of Mount Congreve or Woodstock gardens. The barn has an open plan layout, where you can relax beside the cosy stove and plan your next day’s adventure.

Fantastic views and long quite walks are promised. A stones throw from the beautiful Curraghmore estate, Comeragh mountains with the spectacular Mahon Falls and Coumshingaun Lake and Slievenamon. The Deise Greenway and Copper Coast beaches are easily accessed nearby.
