No.2 Roseville a lovely Victorian, terraced cottage nestled in the small village of Gosforth in the Western Lake District. It offers self catering accommodation for up to four guests. An ideal place to relax or to be adventurous. We are located perfectly to give you great access to the beautiful, unspoilt fells, lakes, rivers, tarns and coastline the area has to offer. We are a perfect place to stay to climb Scafell Pike. We have designed and equipped No.2 Roseville be like a home from home.

Traditional Log Cabin in the Lakes

Traditionally built Log Cabin in a woodland setting, with exceptional views of the Western Fells. Relaxing and Cosy Atmosphere with a wood burning stove. The Cabin comprises of a Kitchen, mezzanine Bedroom, living area and adjoining bathroom. ( I list this cabin for 2 people but would consider allowing up to 4 guests if you contact me especially if you wanted to bring children for instance) Please note this property may not be suitable for guests with specific disabilities if a fire occurred.

Mill Cottage sits in the village of Gosforth in the quieter Western Lake District. Having had a complete renovation it retains its quirky charm with boutique styling. Perfectly placed to enjoy village life but close to popular sites including Muncaster Castle, Scafell, Englands highest mountain, many fells and the stunning Wastwater, the deepest lake. Miles of sand dunes on peaceful beaches are a mere 5 minutes away. Mill is a modern cosy retreat & a great base to enjoy the magic of the Lakes

Coniston ,Charming Cottage with lake view

Three Springs, is an idyllic Lakeland cottage, well equipped and positioned in a superb, elevated position, overlooking Coniston Water and Grizedale Forest. With a picturesque garden, set on different levels, there are breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding fells. Being only five minutes walk from the village centre, it is very convenient for all local amenities. Easy access to fells without the need for a car. Sleeps four (+1). We allow up to 2 dogs; £20 per stay per pet.

Enjoy wonderful views of the Ennerdale fells, extending to Pillar and Steeple. The spacious, comfortable accommodation forms the main section of a larger semi-detached property. You will have the house to yourselves - we will be far away, but contactable should you have any questions or issues. It's self check-in and check-out. There are many good and varied walks nearby, as well as scenic drives and gastro pubs. You will need to bring groceries with you - breakfast is not supplied.

West View Beach House - Cumbrian Coast

West view is a luxury property located directly on Nethertown beach. It is in a tranquil area with amazing sea views. It has a dog friendly beach, is great for fishing, has lots of wildlife and has the most stunning sunsets. In winter, enjoy cosy evenings with the fire lit. An ideal base for exploring the Western Lake District and Cumbrian Coast. It is surrounded by scenic walks and activities. It is close to St Bees coast to coast walk too. Please note- We no longer have a hot tub.

Ash Lodge @ The Barn

Ash Lodge @ The Barn is part of a 17th century stone built barn conversion. A perfect base for hikers, couples and families visiting the beautiful Western Lake District. Near to England's highest mountain, Scafell Pike in Wasdale and the gorgeous Cumbrian coast. With beams and a wood burning stove for cosy nights in or dine at the 17th Century Inn next door. Situated on the outskirts of Gosforth. There are 4 pubs, a bakery, cafe, Italian Restaurant, garage & church!

Our beautiful spacious cottage has everything you need and a perfect home from home to relax and unwind with family and friends. Nestling in the quaint village of Gosforth; with a mixture of mountains, lakes and coastal beaches all within a short drive in a less touristy but equally stunning part of the Lake District National Park. With numerous tourist attractions nearby, you're spoiled for choice. Pet friendly country pubs, café and bakery all within walking distance.

Relax at this peaceful place to stay in the Western Lake District. There are plenty of lovely walks from the doorstep. The King George pub is only a minute walk away, serving lovely home cooked food and real ale. The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, known locally as “La’al Ratty” is only a ten minute walk from the cottage. Eskdale Stores is open daily. The cottage itself has been recently renovated and has a secure garden with lovely views, ideal dogs.

Cute and cosy self catering accommodation located on a working hill farm in the Western Lake District National Park. We are a stones throw from the stunning Wasdale Valley with Wastwater being named Britains best view and also home to Englands highest mountain- Scafell Pike. Perfect for couples or a family with 2 children under 13. Maximum 2 adults. As we are a working farm there will be animals and working machinery around the farm.

This wonderful old cottage has been lovingly restored and is many visitors’ favourite of our cottages. It offers a cosy lounge with log burner, dining room and kitchen area formed around a staircase with a half landing to a modern bathroom. There’s a king bedroom with en-suite and a twin room both with stunning views towards Muncaster Fell. The 4 person hot tub and private lawned garden. High speed satellite internet.

Wood House Cottage

Spectacularly situated in the beautiful Buttermere valley, Wood House Cottage offers sole use of the cottage for your group. The lake is a one minute walk away, where there is a delightful pebble beach and a breathtaking view.
