This home is a spacious converted barn with 2 bedrooms, and kitchen/family room, studio, loft and one bathroom. It is set in the woods just a few miles from Lake Superior. Being off the shore of Lake Superior has it's advantages--it is quieter and at night so dark that if it is clear you can reach out and touch the millions of stars in the sky. The grounds are ample with a large covered patio and fire ring. Reservations less than 2 day prior please message us we will do our best to accommodate.

The Lena dome is 5 minutes from downtown Grand Marais where you can eat at amazing restaurants, hear great live music, enjoy time by Lake Superior, and explore beautifully curated local shops. We are located 4 miles from Gooseberry Falls State Park with the start of the Gitchi Gami bicycle trail and 2 miles from a Superior Hiking Trail head. Walk up 15 stairs to a comfortable, spacious 2 bedroom apartment with balcony. It feels like a tree house with modern amenities. The kitchen has a two-burner ceramic stove top, microwave with oven, toaster, hot water kettle, fridge and coffee maker.
