It was refurbished recently and has underfloor heating and a woodburning stove in the sitting room. It is a perfect place for family and friends to relax. The cottage and garden are for your use, there is a large area of lawn and grass all around the cottage. An ideal location for exploring the rich history of Scotland and to enjoy nature with lochs, beaches, forests and rivers nearby.

It’s in a great countryside location just off the A96 between Nairn and Inverness Airport, a great place for early departures/late arrivals from the airport. It's also a great location if you’re starting or finishing the NC500 or wanting to visit Cawdor Castle, Culloden Battle Field, Fort George and the Clava Cairns are all just a short drive away too. A little bit further is Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle.

With 3 acres of private garden to use as your own, a picnic bench and other seating areas scattered around the grounds. You may have to share the garden with many different animals and birds who tend to treat it as their own too, Squirrels being the main guests! Inverness - 11 mile/Nairn - 5.8 miles/Cawdor - 4 miles/Ardersier - 2.8 miles

Kinkell Castle Cottage

Kinkell cottage is quite simply, perfect. A special, romantic one bed cottage that holds so much character and charm, guests never want to leave. The property sits at the foot of Kinkell Castle, an enchanting building that has been lovingly restored, making it a view in itself to enjoy while sipping on your morning cuppa from the front of the cottage. While the castle is close, it's un-intrusive and the cottage feels incredibly private.

The Pavilion is a Luxurious Self Catered Wing of Foulis Castle just out of Evanton near the ancient burgh of Dingwall. The Pavilion is positioned within beautiful landscaped gardens overlooking the Cromarty Firth. Foulis Castle is a 15-20 min walk away from the Storehouse of Foulis Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm).
