The Shack has been built, fitted and furnished using up-cycled, re-cycled, reclaimed, new, old, vintage, shabby, retro, re-purposed or anything different or quirky. We’re constantly adding to it. Our eco-friendly, architect-designed barn conversion sits in an acre of land on the edge of a forest looking out over open fields. The barn sits in its own spinney which is for guests' private use. There are a variety of paths for lovely walks with plenty of wildlife. Accessible by a 3/4 mile unmade track, it is a quiet and peaceful place to stay, with a flat, dramatic landscape and fantastic sunsets. Finished to a high standard.
