Family home in the heart of Roscommon town. Hanons hotel is round the corner for meals/drinks. Roscommon town is an easy walk of 1.5k. Roscommon Community Hospital is directly opposite the property. Toys and swings are available for children to play with and a sheltered shed with a climbing wall/ Table Tennis in case of rain. The house has a heat recovery ventilation system, solar panels, solar heated hot water, Infrared Sauna and Electric Vehicle Charger. Excellent WiFi.

Positioned just a stone throw from Roscommon Castle and just a 5 minute walk into vibrant town centre. It is also less than a 5 minute drive to the train station. Our quaint retreat is also right beside the Omniplex cinema. Please notice, it's a tiny house! It has everything you need for a comfortable stay for 2 adults. The Herd House Cottage

Our cosy 150 year old stone cottage in the heart of Roscommon is the perfect base for exploring the countryside, or just retreating into the tranquility in the stunning natural surroundings of our farm. Due to Covid-19 it is a minimum stay of 2nights, with one night blocked before and after each reservation to ensure everyones safety. There is a wide range of fun activities to explore and see in the nearby areas for all to enjoy.

Ballindooley Castle

The Castle rests on about half an acre of land with Ballindooley Lake lying to the south west. It is surrounded by low walls and hedges: with a gated entrance controlled by an electronic security system. Features include 3 murders holes and a dungeon The castle was built by the DeBurgo family (approximately 1480). It had the distinction of being shelled by the British Gunboat ” Helga” during the1916 Rising to disband rebels

Lough Lea House

Lough Lea House is a newly renovated and restored bungalow located in the heart of County Roscommon and in the tranquil setting of Lough Lea.
