Our private room features 1 or 2 futon beds on traditional tatami floors. The shared areas include bathrooms, dining space and a work/lounge/library area. The hostel Saruya Hostel opened in 2015 in Fujiyoshida, a city at the bottom of Mt Fuji. We renovated an 80 years old wooden house to create a place that allows our guests to experience time and space through carefully selected art, design and objects, mixing traditional Japanese inspiration with modern aesthetics.

This Superior Dormitory room is a 10 cabin bed-mixed dorm shared by maximum of 12 people. (8 single cabins and 2 double sized cabins) You can use one of the single-sized cabin beds in the room. This bed has side walls and ceiling, so you will have a private space inside the bed. Comfort and good sleep. It comes with curtains, a reading light, power adapters and a security locker.

Japanese-Style Room. Best for a family or trip with friends. (Maximum of 6 people) Shared bathroom, Wash-basin is inside the room. You can relax in our communal natural onsen (hot spring) accompanied with open-air bath. We are a smoke-free hostel. All rooms are non-smoking. There is no TV in the room.
