Orig. from Germany, we love our little paradise on Ruth Lake and would like to share it with you. We live on the same property, there is enough room to respect each other's privacy. Designed as a nod to my heritage, Skoghus ('forest house' in Norwegian) was crafted for relaxation, and reconnecting with nature. The treehouse sits in the centre of a Scottish Highland cattle farm, with pasture and forest in all directions. From the yard, you'll be able to observe and engage with the farm's cattle when they come by. Inside, you can disconnect and unwind, with luxury amenities. The dwelling is completely unique and provides a very special feeling while living in the trees.

Small town nearby for basics. 45min to 2 larger towns with all amenities. Completely private, waterfront with misc very friendly livestock on site. With only 2 cabins, 80m apart, enjoy your own little world. Or vacation with friends, host a wedding or family reunion! If renting both cabins, we allow RV's/tents with your party for a small fee.

Holmwood Farm Julia’s Kitchen Suite

Julia’s Suite features a full kitchen. An adjoining (Buds Lounge Suite) can also be rented for up to four additional guests. Holmwood Farm is a very scenic property with great views and lots of hiking and x country ski trails. It is home to a small flock of sheep, and cows which are grazed regeneratively. . You will have access to fresh vegetables from our garden in the summer months , and free range eggs, pastured meats and locally sourced gifts from our farm store.
