The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. "The Shepherdess Cottage" is a sweet place to visit. It has view of Cahas Mountain in Franklin County, Virginia. This cottage has 2 bedrooms and a bath. A very large kitchen open to great room. The house used to be a one room school house in early 1900's. It sits on one acre of land and has a rural surrounding. When we purchased it, it was completely gutted with all new construction as of 2018.
