Balsam Hollow is a newly built, charming rustic cabin that was created from the heart for our family, friends and you. From the all-wood exterior and interior, to the log railings in the loft, staircase and covered porch with wrap-around deck, our mission is to give our guests a true Adirondack Experience. Surrounded by nature, secluded and private, yet centrally located to Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, and Rainbow Lake with 25 miles of connecting waterways. You will find a snow shoe trail and cross country skiing on our 10 acres. Outside grill and fire pit. With our tankless water system you will have an endless supply of hot water to enjoy! Even though we are tucked off the beaten trail we are close to so much adventure! There are multiple trail heads close by, ice skating (pond style or rinks including the Olympic Oval in Lake Placid), Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort, Bobsled rides, Toboggan Shoot, Sled Dog rides, Boating, Canoeing, Mountain Beaches, Swimming Holes, White Water Rafting, Hiking, Mountain Biking, and so much more! Just steps away from Lake Flower & popular restaurants this cabin is located just 5 minutes from downtown Saranac Lake and 15 minutes to Lake Placid. Perfect place for a home base while you go on your very own Adirondack adventure. You can also spot turkey in the front yard and if you're lucky maybe even a moose. (Warning Signs on the Road for them)

Nestled between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake, this cozy 2-bedroom cabin (King + Queen) is the perfect base for your Adirondack getaway. The spacious, fully fenced backyard features a fire pit, lounge area, and BBQ—great for relaxing after a day of exploring. Dog-friendly with two large doggy doors and a $75 pet cleaning fee (for up to two dogs). Plenty of parking, including space for trailers. Located on a main road, so you may hear some traffic.

Located on the learning hill of the mountain, this quaint one bedroom cabin is perfect for families to enjoy true ski-in/ski-out convenience in the Adirondacks. Walking distance from our Lower Lodge with satellite TV, kids' play area, restaurant, and cafeteria (open daily until 4 p.m.; Friday and Saturday to 10 p.m. winter only) If there is no slope-side lodging available try the award winning Holiday Inn Express located just 7 miles away!

Private entrance on ground level of our home. It’s a four room apartment with its own entrance into a laundry/ski room which accommodates a washer/dryer and ski, coat and boot area. It’s located on a 3 acre wooded lot 3 miles from the village, 8 miles from Whiteface Mountain, 5 miles from Mt. Van Hoevenberg, and minutes from the Olympic venues. It's a truly great location for hikers, skiers, bikers, and those just looking to relax.
