Oakleaf Hideaway is a recently renovated cottage nestled in the trees on 20 private acres atop Lookout Mountain, just 1.5 miles from DeSoto State Park. Featuring private walking trails, seasonal waterfalls, and 2,000 feet of frontage on Straight Creek, the cottage is a peaceful place to unwind, recharge, and enjoy the quiet of Northeast Alabama. You’ll be close to the best of the area, including DeSoto Falls, downtown Mentone, Little River Canyon, and shopping and restaurants in Fort Payne.

Johnnie’s Hideaway

Johnnie’s Hideaway sits on a private wooded lot on Johnnie’s Creek. Close to destinations such as Little River Canyon, Mentone, Desoto State Park, Weiss Lake, are all a short drive. Our cabin sleeps six with a queen bed on main floor, and two full beds in loft area. Main floor has 2 baths with utility room, fully appointed kitchen, dining/living room combo which features a two story rock fireplace with gas logs. A covered wrap around porch & sun deck on the back make great outdoor spaces.

Coyote Den

Coyote Den is a warm and inviting cabin tucked among tall trees, just minutes from DeSoto State Park and Little River Canyon. Step inside to an open living space with leather seating and a full kitchen outfitted with stainless steel appliances. The bedroom features soft, earth-toned linens and the in-cabin washer and dryer make extended stays a breeze. The porch is a perfect spot to sip coffee in the morning or slip into the bubbling hot tub as you watch the forest fade into night.

Clark’s Cottage

Perfectly located between Desoto State Park and Desoto Falls, and only 4 miles from downtown Mentone, this quaint little cottage has tons to offer! Perfect for that weekend getaway, Clark’s Cottage has fiber internet, living room space, queen size bed, and kitchenette equipped with a fridge, air fryer, microwave, ice maker, water dispenser, and coffee maker. Clark’s Cottage also offers one thing that most others do not. We offer a large assortment of complimentary snacks and drinks!
