Our spacious and secluded guest suite is in the perfect location to enjoy all that beautiful Charleston has to offer. Nestled in a quiet suburb, we’re less than a ten minute drive to the Battery and historic district of downtown, and a fifteen minute drive to Folly Beach. The suite was built in 2023, and includes a multitude of amenities for your perfect trip. With beautiful floor to ceiling windows, the view has sweeping oaks and mature magnolias, setting the scene for your Southern getaway.

From the windows and patio you can see the historic Morris Island Lighthouse and panoramic marsh views! Enjoy a gorgeous sunrise with coffee, or the evening breeze and glass of wine from your private, ground level patio. Perfect size for one or two couples or a romantic getaway. Your private, renovated flat occupies the top floor of our elevated home. We live in the floor below and use a separate entrance. We do not allow children under 14 and guests must be at least 24 years old.

Centrally located between Folly Beach and Historic Downtown Charleston, this spacious master suite is perfect for a couple’s getaway! The spacious studio unit has a king-size bed, bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and shower, walk-in closet, sitting area, 55” smart TV, and en-suite kitchenete. The real star is the private deck overlooking the oak tree compound, featuring a full outdoor kitchen, an entertainment area with hammock chairs, a 43” smart TV and outdoor shower at the bottom of the stairs.

The Garden Folly Guest House

Our architect said, “this is NOT a garage, it’s a Garden Folly!” Our Guest House has a bird’s eye view of the rose covered pecan tree and a vista of the marsh and the Wappoo Creek. When we rebuilt our 1930's garage we saved all the beaded siding and pine floor. My husband enjoyed incorporating many design elements and creative ideas. It was quickly becoming the Taj Garage. We decided it was just the kind of property we enjoy when we travel, so, Voila! we decided to share it with you!

Sunny Spot on Ocean View

This cozy guest house is located on Ocean View Road, which is a dead end. A quick down walk down the road and you will see Clark Sound and the Morris Island Lighthouse. The private driveway will easily accomodate your vehicle as well as a boat trailer should you decide to bring your own boat. Sunny Spot is 7 miles from Folly Beach and about 7 miles from downtown Charleston. It is also very close to John's Island where some excellent restaurants and breweries can be found.

Welcome to the Marshfront Suite at the Sea Pear Cottage! We live upstairs, which is a separate living area with its own entrance. You may hear the footsteps of our kids upstairs but it's otherwise set apart and private. Your suite is fully furnished and has beautiful views out to the marsh. It's a one-block, two-minute walk to the beach, and one-mile beach walk or bike ride to Center Street. Business license: LIC046666
