The village has 2 fantastic pubs, a cafe all boasting spectacular views across the River Fal, a very well stocked local shop selling fresh local produce, a passenger ferry from Flushing to Falmouth a great service for tourists wanting to get around without using a car. The village also has a fantastic dog friendly beach, beautiful coastal walks & a kids Park.

My cottage is very special. It's full of character: beams, slate and wood floors, comfortable furniture, it has a real cosy cottage feel. It's a calm oasis in the hub of Falmouth. Yet walk to the beaches and all the delights of this fun seaside town. There are Festivals here all through the year. The Oyster Festival in October. River Fal Walking Festival, Cider and Folk Festival (May) Beer Festival (Autumn), Craft fairs, race sailing weekends in August and the famous Sea Shanty Festival.
