The Hilltop Perch is the upper level of our guest cottage nestled on 10 mountainous acres. Beautiful mountain views often include a stunning sunset (weather permitting) here on the property. We are private and relatively secluded, yet less than 10 minutes from I- 26 and Asheville Regional Airport. The Perch is a great hub for exploring Asheville, Hendersonville, the Biltmore Estate and surrounding mountains. The space is cozy, efficient and clean. The Hard Times Inn is the trail-front property of your dreams! With direct access to 74 miles of trails right out your front door, this is the luxurious basecamp for anyone who wants to hike or mountain bike. Nestled inside the borders of the Bent Creek Experimental Forest (part of the stunning Pisgah National Forest) you'll be just minutes from downtown Asheville, but feel a world away. Leave your car parked in front of the house and immerse yourself in the natural beauty that surrounds you.

There is 2 wheel drive parking space available with a steep 1/2 mile hike to the cabin. If we are close by we could arrange a shuttle… Bring your own sheets, pillow cases and towels.
