"The Driftwood House Suite", A Woods Bay Getaway

Our home is in Woods Bay, a small community near Flathead Lake. The suite where our guests stay is the back portion of our house with its own entrance. It consists of a porch, a bedroom, a private bathroom, a sitting room and a Pavillon outdoors with a grill and space for cooking. The sitting room includes a desk, a tele and comfy love seat as well as Keurig coffee maker, microwave, and a small refrigerator. It is just a short walk to the community beach, or several pubs, even a small market.

The views are spectacular as you can enjoy 360 degree views of the valley, Flathead Lake, Glacier Park, The Swan Mountains, Blacktail Mountain and the big skies and stars of Montana. Historic hand-hewn Log Studio Cabin Rental nestled in a 5 acre organic cherry orchard with outstanding Flathead Lake views. The cabin is located 15 miles south of Bigfork. Designed for 2 people, this 400 square foot log cabin rental has a queen size log bed and a fold down couch. Fully equipped kitchen & bath with all pots and pans and linens, and gas BBQ. There is no tv or phone, but we do have free WIFI, and cell service. The Covered Porch frames the incredible Flathead Lake views.

Couples retreat on Flathead Lake with lake access!

The Cabin is on Woods Bay, 5 miles South of Bigfork. 45 miles to Glacier Park’s West entrance. Walking distance to 4 restaurants, & another 3 restaurants are 1 minute driving distance. Besides the many restaurants 5 miles away in Bigfork. The Cabin is very private but is on the same property of the main house. The property's beach doesn’t have a dock, but you can have access to SUP boards or kayaks for use in Woods Bay on request (rental companies charge $60/day/SUP).

Orchard Cabin on the Lake

Quiet rustic cabin perfect for glamping on 200 feet of Flathead Lake shore . The Rustic cabin (no indoor plumbing) is located just 20' from Flathead Lake. Your own BBQ, outdoor hot water shower and two SUP paddle boards are provided. 2 kayaks and a canoe also avail. Shared fire pit with firewood. The northern 100' of lake shore is more private and is set aside for clothing optional swimming, sunbathing and trail walking in 2 acres of woodland.

Lower - Cozy and Quiet Studio

This is a small studio on the ground floor. It has a very comfy queen size bed with a remote controlled adjustable incline bed frame for adjusting your head and feet. It also has a nice work area or place to eat a meal. It has a well-stocked kitchenette and a nice bathroom with 3’ shower. The studio is perfect for two, but we can make an exception and add a cot for an extra person. Or you may bring your own infant bed.

“Gee” side of Base Camp Bigfork Lodge

The lodge is divided into two separate sides however when you book, we block the other side for the duration of our stay. This allows us to not have to turn over the whole space but you still get it all to yourself. "The Gee Side" will be yours as well as the kitchen space. "The Haw Side" will be locked and unoccupied for your stay. This space serves as a perfect retreat for a couple to regroup between adventures.
