Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

Leaky Creek Wizard Cottage

Calling all Wizards and Witches! Leaky Creek Wizard Cottage is now open for business. This abandoned Wizard hangout is nestled in the woods with a creek steps away from the backyard. Inside you’ll find cozy nooks, spell books and a fireplace to rewatch your favorite movies on the big screen. Each room includes unique magical touches that have been gathered from all over the world. This is more than just a stay, it’s an immersive experience where the magic is real and the coffee brews itself ⚡️

Spivey Falls Cabin, A Cabin by a Waterfall

A secluded cabin with access to a large private waterfall in the Mountains of Tennessee. Nestled on a cliff and overlooking the beautiful natural setting offers precipitous trails to a swimming area beneath a waterfall. The family home overlooks a 75 foot cascading waterfall. Garden trails follow along the creek and incline. The interior of the cabin exhibits a variety of old world charm and nostalgia from the local community. We hope you come away with peace and tranquility of God's nature.

The Nest, a mountainside retreat

The Nest is tucked into a grove of hemlocks, high above the creek and valley below. All types of vehicles have made the trek up the driveway, but we recommend 4-wheel drive. The seclusion of The Nest is unmatched and this tiny modern marvel comes with all you ask for, and so much more. Less than 25 min to downtown Asheville and minutes from the quaint mountain towns of Marshall and Mars Hill. Enjoy activities like hiking, skiing, and zip lines. A short walk to the Appalachian Trail, Big Bald Mountain trail, and the Tennessee border. A short drive to Wolf Laurel Ski slopes and 45 mins to Asheville. Community amenities available such as pickle ball, tennis, swimming pool, and a stocked trout pond for fishing. Reliable cable internet!
