Private Campsite at CrowNestFarm! Bring your tent!

Private campsite! You need to bring your own gear but we provide a 18‘ x 18‘ platform, fire pit, picnic table, firewood to get you started, and comfy outdoor chairs. The campsite is private and shares a bathroom and kitchenette with other two B&Bs on the property. The bathroom has plenty of hot water in the tile shower, a composting toilet and body wash and shampoo. The barn kitchenette has a microwave, Keurig coffee maker with coffee pods, baked goods and a sink and a small fridge you can use.

We are centrally located between Ithaca (9miles), Trumansburg (7miles),Watkins Glen(15 miles),and Lake Seneca wine country (12 miles) . A perfect location to stay while wanting to explore the figerlakes or simply get away from the everyday hustle. The land is surrounded by meadows and wildlife. Enjoy a cup of coffee while listening to the birds sing and nature speak. The space is located near a 2 acre pond,which brings in many beautiful animals from Blue Heron, Ducks,Frogs,Turtles,and more.

Meadow Basecamp

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. As you enter the campsite, you'll be greeted by the neatly mowed plot, offering ample space for setting up tents, camping chairs, and a private fire pit. The well-maintained area ensures a comfortable and clean environment for campers to relax and enjoy their time in nature. We do have a fee for fire wood as it takes a lot of time to get that all set up. If you do not use any wood let us know and we will refund you.

Camp SkyTent: “Fern Gully” picturesque camping

Fern Gully is our most secluded SkyTent, surrounded by ferns, wildflowers, and trees on a private five-acre Certified Wildlife Habitat. Remove the rainfly on clear nights and sleep beneath the stars! Your site includes a private fire pit and outdoor seating. Perfect for families, adventurous couples, date nights, and affordable glamping getaways. Bring your own bedding and drinking water. A shared outhouse and outdoor hose for general use are available; no showers.

Savannah Safari Tent & Breakfast-FLX Glamping

One of our family's first boutique safari tents, the Savannah features a roomy 15'x20' living space, perfect for 2 adults, with themed decor echoing a wildlife safari. The front deck overlooks our peaceful koi pond, and nearby swing. Enjoy a truly off-grid glamping experience where you can literally "unplug." Relax around a nightly bonfire (weather permitting), and wake up to enjoy our complimentary, homemade, locally sourced breakfast, organic wherever possible.

In the Oaks

"In the Oaks" is our first glamping site at the Green Heron, nestled among the oak trees. No set up is required, everything is ready for you! We have a queen size bed made up with cozy linens, lanterns, a deck with comfortable chairs, a picnic table and fire pit. There is no electricity or running water on site. A composting outhouse is a short walk down a dirt road of around 200 yards.
