This isn't just an overnight stop it's an experience. Stroll thru the small western town we have built on the property. Dogs are our pals and horses are our livestock. Hiking trails provide a walk thru the woods and the back deck of the western town makes for a comfortable spot to rest and enjoy the mountain view. Come see the country.

Farris Family Farm is tucked into the beautiful countryside of Northwest Alabama. 50 acres of pasture, pond, creek and forest set the perfect scene for whatever getaway you have in mind. During the year-long renovation of the home we pictured family gatherings, wedding parties, couples and solo venturists all enjoying this place. We know that the spirit of hospitality, extended first by our grandparents, is abundant here. We are glad to continue the legacy of welcoming you "home."

Uncle Irvin’s Cabin

Getaway from it all at Uncle Irvin’s Cabin. Secluded down the long driveway in the woods. Deer are plentiful and walk in the backyard often. Jellybean the cabin cat is always home and lives outside. This cabin is pet friendly (pets need to be housebroken and flea treated). Cabin has been newly renovated with large porch all around the house. All new beds and bedding. Large beautiful Fireplace. climate controlled heat and cooling unit;All new appliances. Pool table & cornhole.

The Lawrence Farmhouse

The 121 year old Lawrence Farmhouse was hand built by the Lawrence family in 1903 and is located on the Lawrence Farm in Fayette County, Alabama. The Lawrence Farm is a registered USDA and Alabama Century and Heritage Farm and has been in continuous agricultural production by the same family for over 150 years. The Lawrence farm is also a registered Alabama Tree Farm and Alabama Treasure Forest. The Farmhouse is often used by the family for stays during Hunting season.

This 1 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath luxury apartment is located in historic downtown Fayette, 45 minutes from Tuscaloosa and the The University of Alabama. It features original hardwood floors and 12 foot ceilings with all new high-end appliances and finishes. This relaxing vacation apartment has plenty of free street parking, self check-in and an elevator. The bedroom has a comfortable king size bed and a twin roll away bed available upon request.
