Right from the Ponte Vecchio bridge, we head south on a combination of small and steep paved country roads towards the Chianti wine area on a warm-up one-hour hike. On our way, we pass by the Boboli garden, the ancient city gate, the Villa of Galileo and end the hike with a breathtaking view of Florence. This is a city hike on small paved roads and only once short stretch on the trail with exercise and stretching in the end of hike. Basic level of fitness required: steep slopes!
