We're going surfing!!
We'll pick you up bright and early at the local coffee shop. Bring your boards and wet-suits (if you don't have, let us know and we can arrange for you) and head out to find some waves. We will have already assessed the conditions and which direction to head in.
There are 100's of different surf spots that all need different conditions and we'll decide where to go based on wind and swell directions on the day. Depending on how far we have to travel we will normally grab some lunch afterwards and be back in the city between 13:00 - 15:00.

Born in Cape Town, traveled most of Southern Africa working as a wildlife & adventure guide. Now based back in Cape Town and surfing when ever I can. If I'm not out in the wild places of Southern Africa, I'm searching for the best and least crowded surf spots on the day within a few hours of the city. Join me to experience some of Cape towns most pristine and off-the-beaten path beaches and surf spots.

We will normally end up finding our surf spot within an hours drive from Cape Town city, but sometimes we will have to go further if its worth it. With the shape of the Cape Peninsula and all its bays there is generally somewhere with epic surf in just about any swell and wind, we'll avoid the crowds and venture out of the city to find the best waves on the day.

These are not surf lessons; you will be joining locals on a surf mission going to the funnest waves (normally 2-5 foot) in the area and therefore you must know how to surf already ;)

Bring anything you would normally want for a day out surfing - water, sunscreen, snacks etc. We can stop at shops on the way if need be.
