Come sailing on a 13 metre ketch and see Melbourne from the water. Day sailing from St Kilda, seeing the sights, cruising the Yarra, swimming or snorkelling, or learning how to sail the Gadfly. Trips can be organised to suit guests requirements and expectations, morning or evening with destinations flexible and weather dependant. Cruise to historic Williamstown for fish and chips, snorkel the reefs south of St Kilda, visit the Yarra River and docklands or learn how to manage a distance, cruising yacht with advice from your professional skipper. Lunch and refreshments provided onboard with the option of lunch on shore at one of various locations.

Trevor
Your skipper, Trevor, has a long history of sailing and working on Port Phillip. This includes skippering charter vessels, sailing his own ketch, diving for personal pursuits and employment, as well as undertaking research, studies and teaching in Marine/Biological Sciences. He is a very experienced sailor with professional qualifications (Master 5), a PhD in Marine Science and a comprehensive knowledge of the area including the maritime environs of Melbourne and history of Port Phillip. He is passionate about the marine environment, conservation issues and sharing his knowledge with others.

Her skal du være
Trips will leave St Kilda, sail to historic Williamstown where we can stop for lunch on board or take a visit to the local fish and chip shop. We will then head up the Yarra River to look at the Port of Melbourne and Docklands. Exiting the river on return we will sail along the shores of Hobsons Bay taking in the views of Melbourne and the beaches between Port Melbourne and St Kilda. Where weather permits, swimming and snorkelling are options.
