I am a professional storyteller and performance poet with a PhD in fairy tales from the Sussex Centre of Fairy Tale, Folklore and Fantasy. I have been telling stories to children and adults in the UK and across Europe for ten years. I am passionate about the tales of Sussex, and believe that local legends and myths can enrich and enchant the experience of a new landscape.

Experience the myths and legends of Sussex with a story walk across the South Downs with a professional storyteller. Aiming for a 3 hour walk in total, we will set off from Hassocks station for a gentle climb up to the top of the Downs. Once we reach the summit, we'll walk East for about 3 miles, appreciating the beautiful views both North to London and South to the sea. The walk will be…

Her skal du være

Beginning at Hassocks station, about 50 miles outside London, the walk will take in 3 miles of the famed South Downs way. We will pass local windmills, take in views of the sea and experience the famed Ditchling Beacon, the third highest point of the Downs. We will then descend to Ditchling, one of England's most magical villages, and finish with a drink in a famed historic pub in Ditchling centre, opposite the twelfth century church.
