This photo workshop focuses on black and white, high contrast photography in the urban environment. Of course guests don’t have to shoot in Black and White (shooting in raw won’t allow that) during the workshop but the focus is on shooting images that will look brilliant when later converted to black and white. When I visit a new city I want to find all those cool locations I’ve seen on Instagram but don’t know how to find. We’ll explore a few of these cool locations and learn about how to create images that incorporate geometry, reflections, shadows and leading lines. During the workshop I'll be offering tips and advice about photography composition, use of light and capturing the moment with your camera. As well as guidance on using shadows, silhouettes, reflections and leading lines.
