Contact me if a particular time is best for you. We offer a midday, afternoon and evening cruise (2.5hr whale watching if possible) every day of the week. When you arrive I will shuttle you out to Dove IV, my 36 foot steel hulled cutter rigged sloop, where we will go on a sailing adventure around the Port San Luis area. You can try your hand behind the helm, raising sails, or just go forward and enjoy the magic of wind and seas and check out the marine life. The area around Port San Luis is vibrant with history and sea life, including whales, dolphins, sea otters, sea lions, harbor seals and many different kinds of birds, to mention a few. Please note, this is first and foremost an authentic sailboat experience. If the whales are nearby, we will make a point of going out and watching them, but whales are whales and sometimes are farther out than we can get to in a 2.5 hour trip. custom private trips available @ $120 / hr.
