Learn an ancient healing art in the serenity of Central Park

Tai Chi is an ancient healing art form and movement meditation. It's gentle, fun, and super beginner friendly!

It's a great practice to take with you on the road and once you learn it, it can be done almost anywhere.

We'll meet in a beautiful park and then walk to a nice spot for Tai Chi class. You'll learn simple movements and techniques to relax and amidst the chaos of the city and stress of travel. The movements involve breathing, tapping, and making sound.

After, we'll share some tea , travel stories, and home made granola.

I'm a born and raised New Yorker, dad, American Ninja Warrior, and Tai Chi instructor with 20 years of teaching experience. I've been lucky enough to be featured on network television, including ABC, FOX, and NBC, as an expert in movement and Tai Chi.

I'm passionate about the power of Tai Chi to heal. It personally helped me heal a serious neck injury. It's also a wonderful tool for keeping your cool amidst the stresses of travel :-)

I took this course to try something new involving movement, but it was nothing like I imagined! An intimate group surrounded by the vibrant Central Park scene, the class really affected a deep paradigm shift in my day. The stretching and breathing really reset me and the instructor was a very pleasant and informed gentleman. I also appreciated the herbal tea and snacks. A lovely way to spend the day and meet healthy and conscious people. Highly recommend!

It is true that there is someone doing something really special and amazing in every corner of NYC, you just have to find them. This is one of those things to find and do and have the best day ever. This class was amazing. I cannot express what a unique and uplifting experience this was. I have done yoga and some tai chi on and off for 20 years and I can say hands down this was the best class I have ever taken. For starters an evening class in Central Park is a little bit magical all by itself. And since this class is small and Jonathon was very hands on and made the group interact, you are really sharing something special. I felt this surprising lift of tension, light and loose in my body, almost giddy when we were done. It was clear we were all feeling it. Jonathon has a real gift he wants to share with people. I took this class with strangers and I feel like we all walked away in a daze like we just shared the coolest secret. I am definitely bringing my people back to this class. Note: This is an all skill level type of thing.

Jonathan is an incredible teacher! Such a pleasant experience to enjoy the beautiful park in NYC and learn a new movement practice. Tai Chi is such a refreshing activity. Highly recommend!
