The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking supplies and a Keurig coffee machine with several options for you to choose from. Full use of the home, fully fenced in back yard and a washer/dryer for your convenience.

The Cottage

Unplug in this peaceful little getaway. Nestled in the backyard of our little hobby farm near the Wood River, you will be able to visit our alpacas, goat, or honey bees. Sit and relax on the porch, or stroll through the pasture or neighborhood. In many ways, the cottage resembles a tiny house with a small bathroom & shower, kitchen sink, microwave, induction hot plate, coffee maker, plates, glasses & utensils. Many of the restaurants & shopping amenities are located on the north end of Kearney.

The walking path and playground are both within walking distance and just a few minutes to the public dock and rental store for bikes, jet skis and boats. A perfectly located get away!

Relax with the whole family (or friends) at this peaceful, spacious home located in a quiet cove right on Johnson lake not far from the Marina. The home features 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a huge dining area with a beautiful kitchen as well as two living-room spaces. The home can easily sleep 16+. There are also outdoor dining/seating areas as well as a bbq grill & fire-pit plus kayaks & a lilly pad to use. IF you prefer not to have the 4th bedroom/Husker family suite you can a reduced rate.

What started out as hobby, paired with Gothenburg's need for affordable lodging, has blossomed into a way for us to raise a little extra money for our daughters college fund. We are located just four miles from top ranked Wild Horse Golf Club, two blocks from Highway 30, one mile from Interstate 80, and three blocks from historic downtown.

Quick access to the boat ramp at Lakeshore Marina, the walking and bike trail, Nautical Rose....and of course the beautiful lake!
