Welcome to our cottage on the lake! We renovated this home through the spring of '18 and are so thrilled to have it ready for you! Sitting less than 30-feet from the sandy bottom of Bass Lake, this house is a charmer in all seasons. In the winter months, enjoy snowshoeing across the lake and come home to a cozy fire. This lovely Bungalow on 5 acres is nestled along 1000ft of the Boardman River. We have kayaks, hammock, outside dining/living area with fireplace, and hot tub. The property is surrounded by state land and trails, perfect for hiking, kayaking, side by sides, and snowmobiling. The kitchen is fully stocked with basic condiments. The bathroom has towels, a hair dryer, small toiletries and soaps. WiFi will help you stay connected. Perfect for a honeymoon stay or couples getaway! 25 minutes to TC.

The A-Frame at Finch Creek - Secluded w/ Hot Tub

Welcome to the A-frame at Finch Creek, a one-of-a-kind Northern Michigan getaway overlooking Finch Creek and completely surrounded by the Grass River Natural Area. We renovated this 1970s cabin from the ground up and designed it to feel open and connected to the landscape. With 20-foot vaulted ceilings, massive picture windows, a fireplace to curl up next to, and just minutes from some of the most stunning lakes in the state, it’s the perfect home base for exploring or doing nothing at all.

The House on the Hill

This house is located outside Alden. It sits on 35 acres and is 1/4 of a mile from the road. The location is rural, secluded and quiet. There is ample parking for boats and recreational vehicles. The view from the deck is spectacular, you can see out over 10 miles. It's private and has a wide wraparound deck, with a covered area at the front. It's perfect for grilling, relaxing and watching the sky after a day out. The kitchen is open and provides a lot of space for food preparation.

Enjoy the coziness of a bygone era while staying in this 1940s quaint, storybook log cabin. The Hawks Nest has been lovingly restored to its original glory while having all the modern-day amenities woven through its clean 380 sq. ft. space. Retreat to the spacious covered porch to relax and view the acre-and-half property leading down to 100ft of 6Mile Lake frontage. Star gaze while relaxing in the comfortable, Amish-built gilding chairs around the spacious, paver fire pit area .

The Rhubarbary Ruins - with an outdoor sauna

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Come and enjoy northern Michigan's beauty in all seasons.

The open floor plan of the house is designed around the natural setting of the property and facilitates a 270 degree view of Grand Traverse bay and the surrounding orchards. Large windows offer the experience to be close to nature through all seasons and the wrap-around porch extends the living space to the outdoors.
