An ideal place to unwind and relax, it is set away from from the rest of the property so guests can enjoy their privacy, but hosts are close by to help if needed. Clean and very comfortable the cottage is full of charm with a private patio area with views over the garden and open countryside beyond.

Stylish New Forest rural hideaway near Lymington

Relax in this contemporary rural bungalow on the forest and close to the sea. Walk out onto the New Forest, enjoy the scenic garden looking over fields packed with wildlife, or enjoy cycling along quiet lanes amongst grazing ponies, donkeys and cattle. Two good pubs are within 1.5 miles in either direction and the historic towns of Beaulieu and Lymington are 3 miles and 4.5 miles respectively away. The quaint historic shipyard of Bucklers Hard nearby has a museum, pub and marina. IOW close too.

The Old Piggery, East Boldre, New Forest

The Old Piggery is a lovely retreat set in a beautiful peaceful 3 acre smallholding in the New Forest with a great Hottub. The ideal getaway for couples or families it has direct forest access right from the gate. It is 2-3 miles from both Beaulieu and Lymington and 30 mins walk or 10 min cycle to the beach and two pubs. A light & airy 2 bedroom detached barn style building, it has a large open plan living/dining area, private garden, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, wood burner & TV.

Little Greatfield is a character 2 bedroom cottage

Unique situation this detached cottage, with an EV charger, is within the Greatfield estate and has beautiful private gardens within a parkland setting. There is a private security gate for access. We are a short walk (5 mins) from Bucklers Hard village and Beaulieu River, where you will find the Master Builders hotel and pub, the Marina and the Maritime Museum. For the hotel restaurant advance booking is recommended. There is a lovely riverside walk to Beaulieu village ( 2.5 miles ).

The HayLoft, a charming hideaway in the New Forest

The Hayloft, as we fondly refer to it in our family, is a delightful hideaway, tucked away in the heart of the New Forest, with everything you need to escape from the stresses of every day life. Once a stable block, the Hayloft was recently converted into a charming maisonette spread across 2 floors. Having retained all its countryside charm thanks to the original wooden features, the HayLoft feels cosy and homely yet is surprisingly spacious and well-equipped given its size.
