Our cottage is perfect for families, couples or friends who want a peaceful base to explore glorious Argyll. This is a truly magical place, with incredible sea views, and a large garden that leads straight on to the shore. It's also a great base for exploring the isle of Bute, the "secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Leac Na Sith means "Hearthstone of Tranquility"... it could not be a more appropriate name.

The Granary is a category B listed building and has been fully renovated to a high standard and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing short stay. Private grounds with access to a peaceful garden and wonderful countryside views. One mile to local village of Moniaive and six miles drive to Thornhill with great local restaurants and activities. Non smoking and unfortunately no pets.

The Bothy is a beautifully presented & spacious, one bed detached house. Set in 4 acres of woodland on the banks of the River Doon & forming part of Doonbank Cottage's woodland garden, it is a very peaceful and quiet location. One (medium sized) dog allowed.

The cottage was built around 1890 to house the Ploughman for Goatfield Farm, and has been extensively remodelled to create a unique getaway. Dunlop is only 1/2 hour drive to some of Ayrshires top golf courses. The train takes less than 30 mins to Glasgow city centre. The village has a community pub, a community cafe(open Thursdays and Fridays for morning coffee and lunch. A newsagent, post office/ shop and an Artisan Bakery ( openThursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.) A new craft shop has also recently opened next door to our home. The nearest supermarket is 10 mins. drive away.
