This cabin is set on beautiful Basswood Lake in Bayfield County, WI. The cabin faces West and offers beautiful sunsets. This lake has some of the best fishing around for panfish, bass, and pike. Right off the driveway is hundreds of miles of four wheeler, UTV, and snowmobile trails. The land is up against National Forest land that has some of the best hunting opportunities. There are many destinations a short drive away. True "up north" living. Please, no cats. We're allergic to them.

Miles of trails are just out your door for cross country skiing, mountain biking, snowmobiling, hiking and ATV's. If you're into outdoor adventure, there's no better spot than at Trail's Edge Hideaway! This duplex cabin is literally steps from Bayfield County's incredible snowmobile, cross-country ski, and ATV trails. Valhalla Recreation Area, which features a ski jump, incredible XC and fat tire biking trails in the winter and hiking/mountain biking in the summer, is just up the road. Few other lodging options in the area make it so easy to get out and enjoy the hundreds of miles of trails.

As you head north to Wisconsin and Lake Superior you are surrounded by the silence of the forest. You can relax , away from the bustle of everyday life. The famous Bois Brule River is a short walk down the hill. We are just an hour from the Apostle Islands, Bayfield, Hayward, Ashland, Wi or Duluth, Mn. Our cabin is very quiet. We are on 3 wooded acres. Our place is a cabin. Not a house. We aren't fancy but comfortable. Get set for a beautiful peaceful time in the pines.

We couldn’t be more heart warmed, to welcome you to our little piece of Heaven in the World! 21 acres with over 600 feet of private sandy shores on the most spectacular bay of Lake Superior. There’s a Lake House with currently 2 bedrooms to share(Note: 2nd bedroom is in an open loft). Short path and then 12 steps to the beach! There’s an adorable boat house too, that’s where we stay when we are up at the Lake. Beautiful silence, darkness, adventure, and serenity awaits.
