The Conductor's Cottage, escape to Waterval Onder

The Conductors' Cottage is a converted railway house that offers beautifully furnished accommodation for up to six guests. Set in the grounds of the main farmhouse, there are three cottages in total. The Conductor's Cottage has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, lounge & outside deck area to enjoy. There are views of the hills of Mpumalanga Province as you sit on the verandah. We are a working farm with resident sheep, geese & pigs. We also have four boxer dogs that are part of the family

The Bakoni Hide-Away, Schoemanskloof

The Bakoni Hide-Away is an off-the-grid retreat, ideal for a romantic getaway for lovers of the African bush. Unfenced, it is set on a remote spot on the side of a mountain with abundant birdlife, buck and other game around. The design was inspired by the many stone circles that occur in this region and the Bakoni people who are believed to have roamed the area in the past. It is ideal for couples and 2 older children can be accommodated on the mezzanine floor if privacy is not a requirement.

The Homestead, Walkersons Estate

Welcome to The Homestead@Walkersons The house has an open plan dining area, living area with a fireplace & kitchen, which is perfect for entertaining & family gatherings. The estate (at over 7km2) has mountain springs, forests & waterfalls. There are fantastic walking, cycling & running paths including trail paths on the Wildlife Reserve. The Estate has a runway & Helipad that can be used if arranged. The house is cleaned on Tuesday & Thursdays, other days can be arranged at additional cost.

Red Oak Ridge, Walkersons Estate

Red Oak Ridge is situated within Walkersons Lifestyle Estate. The home has exceptional, elevated views of the estate and is tastefully furnished with an open plan kitchen, dining room, living room and family room. The cosy indoor fireplace, covered patio and fire area makes this the perfect home for entertainment and family time. The main bedroom is en-suite and the other 2 bedrooms in the main house each have a separate bathroom. The 4th en-suite bedroom is separate to the house and has 4 beds.

River Cottage, Holingsberg River Fly Fishing

Holingsberg River Cottage is an exclusive Self Catering River Fly Fishing Destination for the serious fly fisher. The chalet is upmarket and private, and situated on a working farm yard, where the owners live. The kids are welcome to interact and learn about the farm animals. The fly fisher has 1.5km of river front, 300m away. Come and enjoy the splendid view from the patio while preparing dinner, relaxing around a fire, and discuss the catch of the day. River cottage has 100% solar back-up

Ebhudlweni Farm & Eco-Friendly Guest Cottage

Base rate for 1 person per night (PPN), thereafter R400 PPN night. Comfortable country cottage, situated on a working farm with arts centre, totally off the grid, eco-friendly, solar power, gas stove and gas geyser , fire place, covered braai, WIFI (guests top up), alarm & security installed. Beautiful place to re-connect with nature, open spaces & big skies. Trout dams on property, space for long walks, hikes & mountain biking. 8km on a dirt road from Machadodorp, 30km to Dullstroom.

Self-Catering/Pet Friendly

This old favorite, offers panoramic views, tranquility, and privacy. It boasts a fenced garden and spacious stoep for braais and sundowners. Adventure seekers can hike the mountain for a breathtaking vista. IMPORTANT: Regrettably, the Stone Cottage lacks electricity due to transformer damage from a recent storm. The repair timeframe is unknown, but we have a generator on hand for your convenience. We apologize for this inconvenience and assure you that we're pursuing alternatives.

Ilanga Game & Fishing Lodge

Ilanga Game and Fishing Lodge is a self-catering lodge located on top of a hill, in Dullstroom Country Estate. Ideal for a family or group looking for comfortable lodging with serene views, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Guests can do bass or trout fishing at the dams, Game drives, bird watching, cycling or just enjoy the stunning view from the house of the country site. There is full cellphone reception at the house.

Woud Blokhuis

Luxury timber cabin situated in the forest in Dullstroom, Mpumalanga. The house has large widows providing a 360 view of the surrounding forests, giving guests a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Walking distance from restaurants, shops, hiking, flyfishing, and mountain biking trails. 1 bedroom with a double bed with a futon bed in the study that can accommodate an extra 2 guests. Safe and secure parking available.

Matianine’s Pomegranate Cottage overlooks a tranquil natural koi pond with woodland views beyond and is ideal for couples, offering complete privacy with its own entrance, private veranda, en-suite bathroom with shower and roaring wood burning fireplace.

Delagoa Cottage Dullstroom

Self catering 3 bedroom , 2 bath cottage for 5 situated in secure and scenic Critchley Complex. Open plan lounge, dining and kitchen. Fireplace, 2 TV's with full DStv bouquet and outside weber braai. No pets and no children under 13. Keys can be collected at Harrie's Pancakes before 17:00. For late arrivals alternative arrangements must be made.
