Ideal couples base for exploring the Island

No 1 Shedock Cottage has been completely renovated inside and out, originally a shepherds cottage it is now a very modern living space. The entrance leads into the living room with a kitchen extension to the rear this follows onto a private sitting area outside at the back of the cottage. The bedroom has a double bed with fitted wardrobe. There is a bath and shower in the bathroom next to the bedroom. Heating throughout the cottage is electric with flame effect fire in the living room.

Springwell cottage has been recently renovated. Centrally heated with living room underfloor heating and a wood burning stove. Can sleep 4 adults and 2 infants or 2 adults and 2 children. We accept a max of 2 well behaved dogs no larger than a Labrador. Separate garden for guests use. Safe little beach and swings just across the road . Start of the Goatfell path 5 min walk away. Breathe in the cool, clean air of the tranquil, rewilded space around Shepherd's Cottage on the stunning Isle of Arran. Sitting on the edge of the mystical and atmospheric Machrie Moor, this part of the island is a naturalist's paradise with seals, dolphins, otters, and birds of prey to be seen. Wild swim in nearby Machrie Bay (10 minutes drive) or in the pools of the Machrie Water which flows nearby. A bus service (322) passes the end of our road, 15 minutes walk away.
