This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Recently completely refurbished to a very high standard Bwthyn Gwyn is one of Bala’s oldest cottages. We are dog friendly, with a large purpose built / fully enclosed back garden it’s perfect to bring along furry friends. Very cosy and warm with a log burner, an ideal place to curl up with a cuppa or a glass of wine after a walk in the mountains or around the quaint town of Bala. The Loki Hut The loki hut is a rustic shepherds hut constructed by ourselves here at Graig escapes. Set in the vale of Clwyd in Denbighshire we are located relatively high up so you can enjoy the far reaching views all the way to Snowdonia. The hut is very private and suited to couples and folk who hope to relax and unwind surrounded by nature and animals. The outside bathtub is just stunning at night. We are located just 4 miles from Llandegla forest, 7 miles from Ruthin.

The Byre - secluded retreat with incredible views

Originally built in the mid 1600’s, The Byre was converted from a cow shed to a dwelling in the mid 1980’s. It has recently undergone a full refurbishment to bring it up to date. We are surrounded by 15,000 acres of forests, perfect for walking and cycling. A maximum of 2 dogs are welcome and we ask that dogs are not allowed on the soft furnishings or on the beds. Please make sure that you check your dogs in when making your reservation as a fee of £20 is applicable.

Nestled in the heart of Bala Town, our retreat is a haven of indulgence. Luxuriate in our 8-person touch screen hot tub and unwind in the 4-person sauna. For entertainment, a ping pong and pool table await, along with arcade classics. Our spacious house accommodates 11 guests, and a travel cot is provided. Just a 10-minute stroll to Bala Lake, and all amenities are within a 2-minute walk. This central location ensures both relaxation and convenience.
