The main living area was the former pub's saloon bar, and in tribute to the building’s rich history has been fitted with a copper-topped bar, a perfect place to enjoy a cocktail while looking out across the water. In keeping with the pub theme, there's a second “breakfast and coffee bar” next to the kitchen, an ideal spot for a leisurely morning read. The former beer cellar has been converted into a cinema and is now a secret haven to unwind and indulge a media fix. Fanny’s Dilemma, Middle Street

Fanny’s Dilemma was built in 1715. The original part of the house is hugely atmospheric with original panelling and fireplaces, steeped in the smuggling history of Deal. The cosy winter parlour and dining room are truly delightful. The airy room at the back of the house has evolved and is now a modern kitchen/family room. Renovated in 2021, it has vaulted ceilings and access to the garden The 4th bd rm in the basement down steep stairs and has a small 4ft double bed and private shower room.
