Peaceful and away from it all but close enough to explore the beauty of the Peak District and Chatsworth House. Matlock is a couple of miles away with restaurants, shops and amenities. You can start exploring from the door step; we can help with guides, directions and recommendations. The room can be configured as a luxury Super King or twin beds.

Sequoia Lodge is located in the pretty village of Darley Bridge, making it ideal for anyone wanting to explore the Peak District & Derbyshire Dales. Adjoined to the main house by a wall, you have your own private entrance & courtyard (Summer suntrap!). The living/kitchen areas are bright and airy with huge high beamed ceilings and the bedroom with kingsize bed has French doors opening onto your private courtyard, so you can unwind on a warm evening or enjoy a lazy breakfast in summer.

Damson Tree Cottage-Dog Friendly

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful cozy cottage in Derbyshire Dales on the edge of the Peak District National Park. It is a quiet cottage near many places of historical interest, with great walks, and pubs within walking distance. The area is close to Matlock, Bakewell, and Chatsworth house. Check out our guidebook for a few places we have visited and places we would recommend although we are still exploring and adding to this list! Pets are very welcomed (up to 2 pets with fees)

Converted Dutch Barn, Wensley

Situated in the quiet village of Wensley is The Dutch Barn which probably boasts the best views across the dale towards Riber Castle in the Peak District National Park, walks from the doorstep too. It is a spacious but cosy, bright, open plan building which sleeps 2 and has a modern bathroom. It is situated near Matlock and just 7 miles from the lovely town of Bakewell and the famous Chatsworth house. It offers a tranquil stay with secure off road parking and garage facilities too.

In the Peak District National Park, nestled amongst the boulders in 5 acres of your own private woodland at the top of Eagle Tor, this beautifully hand crafted cabin is the ultimate romantic getaway. Relax and get back to nature in the gorgeous wood fired hot tub looking out across the valley, followed by an outdoor shower with stunning views. In the cabin soak up the gorgeous 180 degree views from your cosy bed by the fire, not to mention the glass roof for star gazing!
