We are dog friendly! We are also child friendly! Ghyllie Cottage is a two bedroom, two bathroom cottage that is over 200 years old! Wetheral is just 3 miles from junction 42 on the M6 and the village has great amenities including a Village Shop and post office, Cafe, and a great pub just across the road! Wetheral Railway Station is a short walk from the cottage with regular trains to Carlisle and Newcastle. Easy access to Gretna Green, the Lake District, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The Byre is a cosy 19th century barn conversion forming part of a Grade 1 listed, 14th Century PeleTower and Farmhouse at a small settlement near Highbridge, Dalston Cumbria. A cosy, converted byre set in tranquil Cumbrian countryside, this is a perfect base for exploring the Lake District or a peaceful hideaway for two. We live in the adjoining farmhouse, but you have your own parking area and separate front door. Surrounded by wildlife, trees and traditional farmland, it offers perfect peace and relaxation. There is fibre broadband. Dogs welcome! King size bed or two single beds.

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. The perfect base for walking or biking the area or visiting the local towns and amazing sights or to just stop and relax and refresh. This is a dog friendly accommodation however any other pet ie cat/donkey/giant python I'm afraid has to be left at home and I ask you keep dog on the leash when around the car park and walkways.

Clough Head pod is perfect for romantic, cosy nights away and to explore the beautiful picturess mountains right outside your door! This takes glamping to a new level. Head outside to it’s own private dining area overlooking Blencathra which is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine after a day of exploring or take a soak in the hot tub and read a good book!
