Maine Waterfront Hideaway

You won't find mobs of tourists here but you will experience a working lobstering village in Maine. Sit back, relax and enjoy the quiet and privacy of 2+ acres at the end of a dirt road with a huge dock located on a tidal cove. Great for family reunions with lots of space and activities for folks of all ages. We focus on making the house comfortable and don't want you to worry about the little things like feet on the couch, water rings on the table or a broken glass. Life happens :-)

The "Fish House": Salt Water Cove Carriage House

The Fish House is a separate building adjacent to our home on 3 1/2 private acres in a peaceful, private HOA neighborhood, with paved road and cable utilities. Wildlife abounds with foxes, osprey, great blue herons, bald eagles and seals. We have several gardens with flowering plants, blueberries, vegetables and herbs that we share with guests throughout the growing season. We're an hour and a half north of Portland and within a half hour of the best restaurants in the midcoast area!

The Cottage at the McCobb House

Freshly renovated inside and out, the cottage is your private Maine camp. Located on an acre and a half of wooded grounds, and surrounded by forest, the cottage feels secluded, but it’s only a mile to the restaurants, shops, and waterfront attractions of bustling Boothbay Harbor. With hiking trails in the Pine Tree Preserve that adjoins the property and the Lobster Cove Meadow Preserve a five minute walk up the road, you can also explore nature and enjoy the solitude of the woods.

Cook out on the grill, lounge on the deck or dock while taking in the wildlife on a beautiful tidal river. Watch nesting Bald Eagles and Great Blue Herons fishing! There is plenty of sight-seeing in this picturesque area. Rockland is just 10-minutes away where you can enjoy shopping, restaurants, museums, galleries, lighthouses and festivals.

This guest suite is located in the lower level of our NetZero post & beam home which sits on a mountain overlooking the Penobscot Bay. The over 600 sq. ft. large open floor plan is spacious & clean with a large private patio. The location is quiet and peaceful while only 5 minutes from the action in downtown Rockland and only 15 minutes from Camden. This is a great home base to explore all that the Midcoast area has to offer.

River Watch Cottage

Lovely updated cottage in the small town of Cushing Maine directly on the St George River. This year round home is fully outfitted to accommodate up to 4 guests. It is only a few steps to the river, watch the boats, beautiful sunrises and eagles soaring. On a nice road for walking and biking, close to downtown Thomaston and Rockland. Unfortunately property is not suitable for children or pets.

"Between the Woods and the Water" is located half way from Port Clyde to Tenants Harbor, Maine. These two lobster fishing villages, on the St. George peninsula of Maine, feature a town beach, Marshall Point Light House, and quick access to the ferry to Monhegan Island.
