A cosy self-contained stone cottage in a peaceful green valley below Cefn Llwydallt. We're 1000 feet up and the views are brilliant! There's a remote, "get away from it all" feeling, but we're just 3 miles from the main A470 road, and a short drive from Hay-on-Wye, Brecon, Builth Wells, and the Brecon Beacons. Perfect for a self-catering stay, downstairs is open plan, with spacious kitchen, dining and lounge areas, and a toilet; upstairs has two bedrooms, and a bathroom with shower and toilet.

Walk,eat,drink,canoe,mountain bike or explore the beautiful book town of Hay On Wye or the old market town of Talgarth. We are one hour away from Cardiff and one hour fifteen from Bristol. Close by is Brecon whereby access to the old Brecon and Monmouth canal and the ever popular Brecon Beacons national park are so easily accessible.

Erwhir Farm stay

20% discount for 7+ nights stay. Erwhir is a rural self-contained farmstay with the owners on-site if required. Based on a beef and sheep farm, just 8 miles from Builth Wells, 14 miles from Hay-on-Wye and 15 miles from Brecon. It is in a sunny, scenic, rural spot. Access to numerous footpaths, only a 10 minute hike to join the Wye Valley Walk. 10 minute drive or a scenic walk to local rural pub. Ideal for a break whether it’s mountain walking, cycling, visiting the local book, food, countryside living or jazz festivals, or some peace and quiet to reflect on life. Has all kitchen amenities needed plus towels&bedding. There is a shower room with toilet and basin. WiFi and flat-screen TV.

Large private double bedroom, with king size bed, ensuite with shower cubicle. The property is adjacent to the Wye Valley walk and approx 2 miles from Builth Wells. The bedroom is in a converted barn with its own access. Ideally located for walkers and easy access to the Royal Show Ground. Please note that the access to the house is via a fairly steep and narrow lane (last section is a track with loose gravel), not suitable for HGVs. We now provide super fast internet!!
