Romantic Hideaway - 1850's Schoolhouse

The Old Schoolhouse was built in 1850, and has been beautifully restored. It's got a long and rich history, dating back to the Irish Famine. My dad went to school here, we lived in it as a family growing up and I wanted to share some of the history of the buildng with visitors. It's been updated with fast (150mb) fiber internet, and it's very cozy and warm. We just added a modern, private workspace outside for remote working - fast internet, private, monitors, great for Zoom calls!

Bridgies Cottage

Bridgies Cottage is situated in the seaside village of Cave, just 2 miles from Clarinbridge, It is a traditional thatched cottage, which has been renovated inside but still keeping most of the old charm and character. The view is amazing , The cottage can sleep 5 adults and 2 kids. , I will provide home made scones on arrival, and will have the fridge well filled ! I live next door so any queries you may have will be dealt with immedietly.

Curraghmore Cottage

Curraghmore Cottage is a lovingly restored traditional Irish cottage, nearly 100 years old. Once a Land Commission home, it retains its original charm with stone sheds, gardens, and a timeless atmosphere. Nestled outside historic Athenry and just 20 km from Galway City, it offers the perfect mix of peaceful country living and easy access to culture, music, and coastal adventures along the Wild Atlantic Way and Cliffs of Moher.

Carrigeen Cottage

Our recently completed cottage is a modern gem located along the Wild Atlantic Way with easy access to Galway City Centre (train/bus/ 25 min drive). We are surrounded by countryside and there is a 600 acre Special Protection Area and a Special Area of Conservation (Rahasane turlough) on our doorstep. We are located 1 hour from Shannon Airport & Ireland West (Knock) Airport and 2 hours from Dublin Airport.

Down a winding path in a peaceful corner of our countryside garden sits this two-bedroom lodge, a comfortable and self-contained home for your stay. A half hour's drive from Galway and the Burren, it's a great base for a family or couple's visit to the west of Ireland. A car is recommended as public transport is very limited.
