Slaney Countryside Retreat Wexford

Our house is located just outside of Wexford town. The property overlooks the river Slaney and the guests can look out their kitchen window at the river. Our apartment can accommodate 2 adults, 1 child and an infant. Close to plenty of local tourist attractions, like for instance; The National Heritage Park (5 mins), Wexford town (10 mins), Ferrycarrig Hotel (10 minutes), Enniscorthy (15 mins), Johnstown Castle (10mins), Rosslare Strand/Harbour (20mins), Hook Lighthouse (25) Dublin (90)

Beautifully restored townhouse in centre of town, literally a stones throw to the Opera House and all the shops, restaurants and pubs within a short stroll. Perfect location to enjoy a break with family or friends. Extremely private patio garden to rear which has the old town wall as part of its boundary. The patio walls are uplit at night and provide a lovely atmospheric private space to enjoy a glass of wine or just relax. Parking is available across the street €4 per day.

"Stable Cottage"

"Stable Cottage" is an old traditional style, converted stone barn, near our historic old farmhouse. It retains many original features such as the original old natural slated roof, old beams, pine boarded floors, exposed original stone walls etc. etc.. It is very quiet and peaceful, on a small working tillage farm. Originally, it was the stable where the horses were sheltered and fed for the winter months while the wheat, feed oats etc was stored on the loft overhead.

The Apartment at Sandbrook House is a separate self-contained flat within the main house which is situated on the County Carlow and Wicklow border with views of Mount Leinster. The apartment sleeps 4 people within 1 double room and 1 twin room, there is a lovely cosy kitchen/lounge area and bathroom/shower. Please get in touch with any questions. You’ll love my place because of the local people, the location, the outdoors space, and the ambiance, the free parking & you are so central you can walk everywhere. Walking distance to pubs, StepHouse Hotel, shops, bank, church etc.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and big groups.
