Restored 200 Year Old Church

Bookeen Hall is a 200 year old restored church about 20 mins from Galway City and within easy reach of the Cliffs of Moher, The Burren and Connemara. We are a short drive from Lignum (restaurant). We offer a private room (with 1 king size bed and 1 single bed) with a private bathroom. For larger groups there is a second room (with 1 king size bed), so we can accommodate up to 5. The nearest train station is 8 miles away in Athenry. We live here with our dogs and look forward to meeting you!

Cregg Castle is a magical place built in 1648 by the Kirwan Family, one of the 12 tribes of Galway. It is set on 180 acres of pasture and beautiful woodlands. Your host,Artist Alan Murray who currently hosts the Gallery of Angels in the main rooms.
