Private Rustic Carriage House

1910 cozy Carriage House. This was a true proper carriage house that once, before it was converted, housed a horse and carriage on the first floor. Located just blocks from restaurants, shops, and theaters in Overton Square, the zoo, and Overton Park. Brand new mattress April of 2024!!! LOCALS-This is NOT a space for parties. There is only parking for 2 cars. Guest MUST be listed. Any other cars will be seen by neighbors and our exterior cameras and parties will be shut down immediately

The Lions Den

Newly constructed apartment just completed October 2018. Located in the lower level of our 100 year old historic home. The Lions Den is a cozy hideaway for travelers to call home. Guests enter the apartment through a lovely garden with fountain. There is private entrance and porch to enjoy a morning coffee or evening cocktail. We provide beverages and pumpkin bread and other conveniences. If you are traveling with more than 2 you may also book Lions Rest next door. We also include home tour.

Stay in a 100 year old house that has been professionally decorated for your comfort and enjoyment. Within walking distance of drinks, dining, night-life and recreation. For those guests traveling with friends we offer a second unit in the same house. Perfect for couples wanting privacy but to share space for visiting.

You will love the safe neighborhood with mansion homes all around and private security. Downtown Memphis is only 2 miles away or walk to local bars in Cooper Young and Overton Square.

Very centrally located and near I-40 allowing you to be most anywhere you need to be in 20 minutes.

Harbert House is situated within walking distance to shops and food in Cooper Young + Overton Square, 2 miles from the Memphis Zoo and Overton park, & 3 miles from downtown. Harbert House was built in 1912 and has historic charm.

Our property isn't just a place to spend the night, its a destination. A place to relax. We have been blessed to call this beautiful farmstead home for over 30 years. Upon entering the property you will traverse along the winding drive, rolling hills, across the lake on the covered bridge, and up the hill to the log home. Be sure to look around for the many deer, geese, ducks, turkeys, and other wildlife that also call our farm home.

As hosts, we will leave you to have a great stay in our fine city; however, if you would like to, come hang out in the backyard with our family.
