Snowmobile trails are accessible from the cabin, and ATV trails with parking are accessible from nearby Kingfield (6 miles north). Ski Sugarloaf, bike the Carrabassett Valley trails, hike the Bigelow Preserve, or just relax by the river - this area has it all!

Enjoy the all new appliances and fully stocked kitchen and outdoor grill. ATV trails are within a mile and fishing is outstanding in the area. No Jet Skis on Lake!

The open floor plan & entertainment system are ideal for relaxing after a full day. Close to hiking & biking trails, 7 mi to Sugarloaf Mountain, 1.5 mi to Flagstaff Lake boat launch, 20 min drive to Rangeley. Outdoor dining area, firepit , deck, & covered porch. It’s the perfect spot to launch your outdoor adventures from!

The Terraces #5 Private Lakefront Cabin

Cabin #5 is available spring to fall. It is cozy getaway located on the beautiful Rangeley Lake. Guests have direct access to the lake via 100 meter walk down to the dock. You will be a less than a 5 minute drive to a bustling main street with great local shops and eateries. The cabin is quaint and we provide the necessities. That being said, there is not an electric toaster or microwave. The space is used wisely and we do not have room for extra small kitchen appliances.

Sugarloaf Mountain, Slim Melvin House

Classic ski camp originally built in 1960 by Sugarloaf founding father, Walter”Slim” Melvin, and updated in 1998. All pine interior. Carpeted second floor bed rooms. Just 3 miles south of the Sugarloaf Mountain access rd. The camp is a very quiet retreat for family and friends. Dog friendly. Snow shoe out the back door and connect with the trails of the Outdoor center. Tune your skis on the basement work bench. Valley shuttle is available on call.
