Walking to food, shops, drive-in movie theatre, and rail trail. Trail is 1/4 mile from house, paved and only allows walking/biking. On trail: Arts village Wassaic (3 miles south) Millerton (8 miles north). Train to NYC is 2.5m south. Tons in area: wineries, distillery, lakes, hiking, theatre & quaint towns.

The Berkshires are beautiful in the fall , come stay ! 5 minute drive to town. Walk to the Green River , hike the trails. We provide all basic household supplies. Copake Lake Cottage Near Skiing and Hiking

Renovated cottage just 500 ft from Copake Lake. This 2 bedroom 1 bathroom house is also close to hiking trails, waterfalls, apple picking, & a winery in the fall, and in winter, there’s skiing at Catamount (it’s just six miles away!) and a distillery nearby. A house for all seasons! Please note the house is 5 houses back and across a quiet road from the lake, and the dock is in the lake from the beginning of May to mid-September. But there is plenty to do up here during the rest of the year!
