Set on 5 acres of mainly native bushland, our cottage is a real retreat from the urban rat race. The cottage is well equipped with everything to make your stay enjoyable. We have central hydronic heating but the 2 large open fireplaces are a real feature of the cottage. We are regularly visited by kangaroos, kookaburras and other native wildlife. Fur kids are entirely welcome and we have a secure area with a large kennel if you want to leave them while you explore the delights of Daylesford.

We are surrounded by nature, and a few minutes drive from historic Trentham with cafes, pubs, walking tracks and a lot of history.

The Jamieson Cottage is one of two cottages listed on this Airbnb site. “The Jamieson" and "The Raglan Cottage” were originally part of the first Cobb and Co staging station and booking office, which operated on this site from 1858 until 1877. Both cottages lie at the rear of the former Jamieson Hotel, which was built by American prospector and entrepreneur Henry Jamieson in 1858.
